How j8o Handles Your Account Under These Terms

We hold ourselves to clear, consistent standards across data handling, account security and payment conduct.

Data Handling

We collect only the data needed to verify your identity, process payments and meet legal obligations. Your details are stored on encrypted servers and never sold to third parties outside the scope of these terms.

Cookie Policy

We use session and analytics cookies to keep your account session active and to understand how the lobby is used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time without losing account access.

Account Security

Every account is protected by two-factor authentication via your registered mobile number. If we detect unusual login activity, we suspend the session and email you within minutes so you can confirm or block the access attempt.

Data Retention

We retain your account records for the period required by applicable Indian law. Once that period expires and your account is closed, we delete personal data from our active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90.

These terms apply to anyone who opens an account on j8o and accesses the platform where local law permits. By completing registration, you are confirming you have read, understood and agreed to every clause in this document.

We email you at your registered address before any material change takes effect. The notice period is stated in the update email. If you continue to use your account after that period, we treat that as acceptance of the revised terms.

Go to account settings and select the account closure option. Any pending withdrawals to your UPI, Paytm or PhonePe account will be processed before closure is finalised. We aim to complete this within two business days.
